DeckFlow is committed to providing a versatile suite of AI productivity tools. Since AI data processing involves immediate consumption of computational resources (including GPU power and third-party API costs), we have established this Refund Policy regarding our account credit system (Credits and Sparks) to maintain business transparency while balancing these unpredictable and irreversible operational expenses.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (the "Policy") applies to all purchases made through the DeckFlow platform. This Policy is incorporated into and forms an integral part of our Terms of Service. Please read and understand this Policy carefully before making any payment.
1. Evaluation and Free Trial
DeckFlow adheres to the principles of transparency and fairness. We provide an initial free credit allocation to every newly registered user, upholding the philosophy of "Try Before You Buy." Based on this original intent, our Free Plan allows you to fully experience and test core features—including AI Document Translation, AI Presentation Generation, and various productivity tools—without the need to link a credit card.
As we have provided such a risk-free evaluation opportunity to all users, your paid purchase shall be deemed as your full understanding and acceptance of the Service functions and content quality prior to subscription. While the usage of free credits does not affect subsequent eligibility for specific refunds, a paid subscription following such an evaluation is generally considered a final confirmation.
2. Service Delivery and Consumption Determination (Usage Definition)
Due to the immediate and irreversible nature of AI-generated content, we implement the following determination standards:
- Consumption as Delivery: Any successful execution of a task that results in the actual deduction of Credits or Sparks from your account balance (regardless of the specific feature used or whether results were exported) constitutes "Service Delivery."
- Digital Asset Nature: You understand and agree that the Service involves access to and generation of digital content; such assets, once produced, cannot be physically "returned." Consequently, refund requests made after credits have been consumed will not be satisfied.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refund requests will be strictly evaluated based on the following criteria. Unless otherwise mandated by applicable law, refunds shall only be granted under the following specific circumstances:
- Zero Consumption (14-Day Rule): You are entitled to request a full refund within fourteen (14) days of purchase, provided that zero (0) premium credits (including Credits and Sparks) have been consumed from your paid subscription plan.
- Billing and Error Exceptions:
- Duplicate Charges: If a technical failure results in multiple charges for the same subscription period, we will refund the duplicate payment (provided it is reported within 14 days).
- Charge After Cancellation: If you have successfully cancelled your subscription but were still charged by the system (and no credits were consumed in the new cycle), we will issue a full refund.
- Unauthorized Charges: If you believe your payment method was misappropriated by another party to purchase a subscription, please contact us at support@deckflow.com immediately for investigation and refund processing.
- Continuous Service Unavailability: If a verifiable technical defect on our platform causes the Service to be entirely unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours, and our support team is unable to provide a timely alternative, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund for that month.
4. Subscription Management and Cancellation
You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time, but please distinguish between "Cancellation" and "Refund":
- Self-Service Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing or credit usage management page. Upon cancellation, your subscription will stop at the end of the current billing cycle, and no further charges will be incurred for the next cycle.
- No Mid-Term Refunds: If you choose to cancel mid-subscription, the remaining time of your current cycle remains valid and available for use until expiration. We do not provide prorated refunds based on days or months.
- Annual Renewal Buffer: For annual auto-renewals, you may request a refund of most of the fee within seven (7) days of the charge (subject to the deduction of a one-month service fee as administrative cost), provided no credits were consumed in the new cycle.
5. Regional Statutory Rights of Withdrawal
We respect the statutory rights of different jurisdictions:
- Brazilian Users: In accordance with the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code, residents of Brazil have the right to exercise a right of withdrawal within seven (7) days of purchase. However, please note that since DeckFlow provides immediately generated digital content, if you have already produced substantial consumption of account credit resources (Credits or Sparks) within this period, the Service shall be deemed "fully performed." Based on the immediate consumption nature of AI computational resources, DeckFlow reserves the right to contest full refund requests for such substantial usage.
- EU, UK, and Turkish Users: In accordance with applicable local consumer protection laws and regulations, you have the right to exercise a statutory right of withdrawal within fourteen (14) days of purchase. However, if the Service has begun performance with your express consent (i.e., account credit resources have been consumed), you may lose this right of withdrawal. Once you initiate a generation task and consume credits on the DeckFlow platform, it is deemed that you consent to the immediate commencement of Service performance and acknowledge the loss of your right of withdrawal.
- South Korean Users: In accordance with the Electronic Commerce Act, South Korean users have the right to request a refund within seven (7) days. However, if the performance of the digital content service has begun (i.e., credit resources have been consumed), the right to a refund shall be restricted in accordance with relevant legal provisions.
6. Refusal of Refund and Anti-Abuse (Non-Refundable)
The Company reserves the right to refuse a refund request in the following circumstances:
- The account is banned or restricted due to violation of the Terms of Service, AI abuse, fraud, or illegal activities;
- You have previously received a refund for a similar product (to prevent serial refund abuse);
- The Service or credits were purchased using a promotional code, voucher, or special discount price;
- The request is made after the applicable statutory deadline.
7. Application Process, Disputes, and Governing Law (Process & Disputes)
To request a refund, please email support@deckflow.com. Please provide your registered email, proof of purchase, and the reason for the refund. Our team will review your account logs and provide a formal response within 3-5 business days.
Malicious Chargeback Warning: This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Initiating a "Chargeback" or dispute directly through your bank or payment processor (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) without first contacting the DeckFlow support team may result in the immediate and permanent suspension of your account. In all payment disputes, we will provide the bank and payment channels with immutable evidence as the basis for settlement, including: account creation records, proof of the logic for clicking and accepting the Terms of Service, login logs, detailed account credit consumption logs, and file production history.
8. Policy Updates
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business or legal environment. Any updates will be posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date at the top will be updated accordingly. For material changes affecting refund rights, we may notify registered users via the email provided or through prominent notices within the platform. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications take effect constitutes your reading, understanding, and acceptance of the updated Policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest refund and cancellation rules.
